Lets Start Here: Why is it so Hard to Have Healthy Habits?

Do you notice how so many millennials are often on the hot topic of "simpler times"? Back when technology wasn't a distraction, kids were out and told to "be home by dark", and cars used CDs and cassette tapes for music. Everything changed, but why? Convenience. The modern market is intensely driven by how they can make anything more convenient for buyers. Smartphones and applications; you can have dinner delivered to your door at the quick click of a few buttons. You can purchase something from a different country and it will be at your doorstep by the weekend. Instead of maintaining a healthy lifestyle to lose weight, you can get surgery instead. What about fast food? Inflation has made it faster, cheaper, and lower in quality - it's more convenient. A multitude of people, especially those who never knew what simpler times were, don't recognize the detrimental effects of the broad spectrum of convenient changes and products that are spoon-fed to us every day. Why read the newspaper when you have it on your phone? Why go to the mall when you can order off SHEIN? You may not see it, but convenience is likely the reason you aren't meeting all of your personal goals, and especially why humans are lazy.
